PROGRAM OUTCOMES

At the end of the program, the engineer graduate will be able to:

PO1	Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to Civil Engineering related problems.
PO2	Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze Civil engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using principles of mathematics and engineering sciences.
PO3	An ability to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO4	An ability to apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO5	Ability to understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
PO6	Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
PO7	An ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

PSO1	To establish a solid foundation in Civil Engineering basics so that engineer graduates can solve problems using mathematics and systematic problem solving technique.
PSO2	Graduates should be able to demonstrate moral professionalism, effective communication skills, and the ability to learn new things throughout their lives and adapt to the contemporary tools of civil engineering.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO1	Graduates will be able to contribute to the creation of sustainable infrastructure.
PEO2	To inculcate in graduates human concise, and socially acceptable behavior so that they can correctly understand the impact of technology on society.
PEO3	To provide students with communication, teamwork, and leadership skills so that they can handle difficulties in all aspects of life responsibly.
